If you have never been to Chiang Mai, be prepared to fall in love. There is something for every make and model of traveler. From art museums to smooth jazz bars to nature trekking, Chiang Mai has it all.

Eat and drink :
The city offers exceptional dining opportunities. Tom can show you around to the farang (tourist) places if you are longing for some spaghetti or yearning for a banana pancake. Or you can sample the famous Thai dishes from patai to curried frog. The possibilities are endless. Thai cooking is world renowned and more of an art form than just a meal. Tom can lead you to the secret local cafes for a more authentic cultural experience. Or… if you are feeling cosmopolitan… taste some of the city's sushi or Chinese. Your taste buds will not tire nor will your stomach go empty in Chiang Mai. Prices range from 40-200 baht.

Nightlife :
Chiang Mai nights are pulsing with energy. You can cruise the streets and hop from a quiet lounge to a throbbing dance club. Thais love to have a good time and the variety of music is as international as the party goers. You are open to pop in a smooth live jazz club, (you can even join their jam session if you can play). Meander over to shake it to some saucy Latino beats, find your way to some chilled out reggae, then finish the night with your best robot moves at an electro joint, the nights are as long as you let them be. Or… for a more chilled out evening, try out the retro sofas at Papabar. Tom can point you to whatever your interest or taste. Don’t hesitate to ask.
